Nope they are out of business,😯
Sounds like negotiations broke down between the owner of the facility and the folks that ran the business.
The painted pony has been reopened :-)
Not sure..but the meals i have had always good
Closed today Christmas
Elated The Painted Pony has reopened.Excellent food with good portions which are served by attentive staff. We could definitely do without having staff stand at attention watching the diners.Very uncomfortable situation. The irony is these same people walked by our table repeatedly and failed to remove garbage, plates and didn't fill water glasses.
Good food. Lite food menu for small appetites. Nice beer selection.
What a disappointing experience. Ordered 4 soups to start. The 3 lemon/rice soups were very good. The Rhode Island clam chowder was mainly just broth, hardly any clams, and had a hair in it. Ordered a burger medium, cheddar and onions only. It came well done with American cheese, not cheddar. Dad ordered a Burger on white toast, well done, American cheese lettuce and tomato. His came on a roll (not white toast) and was medium, not well done. Also, they put his Burger on my plate and my Burger on his plate. My husband's flat bread was soggy, sitting on a bed of oil or grease. Again just very disappointing overall. Not sure I'd go back.
Our 1st time here, reasonable prices, small portions. Examples: soup is served in a shallow bowl, fish-chips is a lunch portion at most place, potato wedges and up to 3/4 of a potato. Watch out for the sides which are extremely expensive for thier size- 5 small piece of broccoli for $5.Our server was a Great server!
Food was excellent and the sevice was great. The Restaurant has a lot of charm very well decorated. It came highly recommended from those in town.
The wife and I went there today and we were very happy that the food (prime rib) was just as good as always, service and atmosphere GREAT 😋
Good food, Excellent service! Our waiter was attentive, and very pleasant. While he was serving other tables the bartender and additional waitstaff made sure our drinks were filled and we had everything we needed.
This was our 1st visit and we were not impressed. We arrived at 4:45 and wanted to order a baked potato with our dinner but were told that they do not serve them until 5:00. The service was not great but the food we ordered was good. We would not go back
We had a fantastic time at this spot. We loved the amazing vibes and the menu. The staff members were very welcoming. I’m content we ultimately managed to visit here.
Great food and service....
I went here with my client and her husband it was great really good food and the boss is always making sure you are OK and the workers I will definitely let people know to go there
As of Aug. 2018 the Painted Pony has ceased operation, unfortinately, Reasonably priced. Portions are large. So, be prepared to take a doggie bag home with you. There is also a very-reasonably priced "Lite Faire" menu. The dining room is quieter than the lounge/bar area and has the same menu. The wait staff is very personable and very attentive to your needs. The Painted Pony has reopened, but I have not visited as of 03/17/20.
Went to see THE RAKES perform. They're great...service was not. Food was disappointing. Ordered tenderloin medallions medium, they came out well and Server never checked on us to see how the food was so we ate what we could but it wasn't good overall. The band did a fantastic job. Pro tip- eat before you go there.
MUCH TO LOUD. Could not have a conversation with friends we were with.Prime rib special was very good but overpriced. Waitress wasn't sure about several menu items. Had to keep checking with the kitchen to answer our questions. The rolls were stale. No one our table received the vegetables that were supposed to be part our meals. A baked potato was served with blue cheese salad dressing instead of butter and sour cream. Two people in our party didn't have knives to cut their prime rib. Had to ask.It appears they are still trying to get organized as it's only been open for a couple of weeks. It was not a pleasant experience.
Nice atmosphere, good service, good wings.
Nice friendly place. Good food. Entertainment weekly. Room for events. Large covered deck with a fireplace for spring, summer, and fall dining.
Very good food and reasonably priced! Nice place to go for a prime rib dinner!
Did not care for the Easter buffet. The service was bad, couldn't keep up with plates for guests and once dessert was gone, it was gone. Plus they automatically took 20% gratuity. I wouldn't of minded that if the service was decent.
Food was excellent! Great service. Very friendly..will go again..
The ago-lemono soup is to die for. Great food steaks and burgers are always awesome. Honey mustard pork chops are Manhattan Exquisite at a small little Connecticut restaurant. If you're real lucky you'll be there when they make the once in a blue moon and stuffed pepper soup it is out of this world
I was here for a party. It was a very nice place. Food was typical for cater food. Too far for me to visit again as it's in the boondocks ☺
Went to a memorial brunch buffet. Relaxed atmosphere, service and food was good. Will probably return to try dinner.
